Chinedu Chidebe is a Nigerian abstract painter exploring geometric abstraction. Born in 1998 in Onitsha, Anambra state, in the eastern part of Nigeria, Chidebe has earned his bachelor's degree in fine and applied arts from the University of Nigeria Nsukka.
Initially working in conventional realist painting style, Chidebe’s style has evolved over recent years from figurative painting towards geometric abstraction. Inspired by cubism, his paintings imagines the mind as a network of interconnected shapes, lines, and bold colors representing ephemeral activities of the human mind.
His works has been exhibited with galleries within his country Nigeria and the UK as he continues to establish himself.
